[ and wasn't that obvious? he was the one to reach out, at the trial. the one to try and question her. a quiet bond built in confession and familiarity, from a lost little lamb to a priest. ] We are going to have to find the corruption of this system and tear it out by the roots.

But, I agree. It seems this place acts much on the paranoia and panic and fear of its citizens. Mika, it seems, was to be an example.

Mm, yes that seems about what I expect. There seem to be other factors at play other than what was expected of us and what the city is planning.
